2. PRIVACY

If after reading information you have supplied, with an anonymous attachment, we feel it has merit or deserves further research we will contact you on a more personal level and in a more private nature. At that point, it will be up to you as to your level of involvement. Should you decline any further involvement, we will refrain from further contact. Any information we obtain, whether through private interaction or through the site itself, is, and will always be, given freely by the user or participant. We DO NOT EVER want ANYONE to feel they will be, in any way, badgered for information, or have evidence taken from them.
3. SHARING OF INFORMATION
We ask that any information you share with the site, via the forums or via email to the administrators, document, whenever possible, the location of where your submitted information comes from. (ie. name of newspaper, date and page or section of listing; Atchison County record book #, and page #; 1905 phone book and page number, my grandmother’s house keeper, my mother etc…) Just because information comes from your mother's housekeeper doesn't mean it is not valid. Providing this will be most helpful when referring to the information, validating it, and furthering leads from it.
4. MATERIAL RELEASE (to all members and posting members in the forum)
When posting your experiences, submitting photos, EVP or video to this website, you are giving TheSallieHouse.com website full permission to use the material and reference it within any portion of this website only. ALL SUBMITTED MATERIAL WILL REMAIN YOUR PROPERTY. Should we be interested in using it beyond the scope of the website we will contact you for that permission, and only with that specifically negotiated permission will it be used beyond the website.
Additionally, all material on this website is owned by the user who posted it. Should you desire to copy any portion of the material on this site, you must make that request in writing to info@thesalliehouse.com so we can determine if it is material, we have the permission to give.
If it is our own material, permission will be given with only two stipulations. First that we know were it will be used, released or issued, and secondly, that the proper individual or group (owner of that material) is given proper credit for the material you have requested. If permission has not been granted or proper credit not given when used, the user violating this policy WILL BE BANNED from returning to this site and/or face legal recourse.
If it is not our material that you are requesting permission for, we will direct you to the third party to whom you will need to seek permission.
