Shaman Cleansing
Report by: Debra Pickman
During the night of Sightings all night vigil, we had talked with her often through the investigation and especially through the previous night. We had talked about our own experiences and theories along with the things the psychics had revealed. We further discussed her own theories and impressions, which at the time, seemed to make a lot of sense.
From word of mouth a few months prior Tony and I had heard a story that reported a wagon accident in front of the house, which had injured or killed a young child, however we had never been able to verify it through city records. Not being able to verify it, we never spoke of it . The night of the all night vigil, the woman with Sightings had spoken of a vision she had of wagon accident in a barn on the property. She further described that the accident seemed to involve two children and that one of them had suffered a leg injury and one had died. Finding a correlation like this was encouraging and certainly peaked out interest.
As the crew packed up the next afternoon she had approached us revealing that she had wanted to talk to us independently of the Sightings crew. We suggested that she could return later that day after we had had a little time to catch up from the excitement of the weekend.
She arrived early evening and re-introduced her self as a Shaman led medium and it was her feeling that she could offer us some help in getting rid of the entity causing the physical abuse on Tony. It was her understanding, through the incite of her guide, that other than Sally, there was a bitter female soul in the house.
She described what it was that she was willing to do, and explained how she thought it would help. She felt confident that with the help of her Shaman guide, together we could cleanse the house and help the female spirit move onto the light. Willing to try anything that might alleviate the physical attacks, we agreed.
The woman told us that in order to do the ritual she intended, she would have to go back to her hotel and prepare herself; a shower to cleanse and mediation to put herself in the right mindful state.
When she returned we met her at the door only to find that she had returned dressed in beautiful Indian attire; a white calf length suede dress adorned with beads, feathers and crystal stones.
Moments later she explained that she was going to smudge the house from top to bottom. It was explained that this was a ritual to soften the energies and bring more of a balance to the house.
