When we went to the house in December I had so many names from the last couple visits. Knowing how people hear different things in EVP it seems that anything very important needed to be asked again, if possible in a yes or no question because hearing the difference between those two words isn’t usually difficult.
Results from my roll call; Dale or Dell as I just found out is there. His last name is Smith. Someone who says they are an “innie” thanks for that information. Johnny is there, Dennis and he is a little boy, Russ Alebra, (my personal ghost or at least the one they have watching me), Steven answered, Chris is there and I think he could be from 16 to 20 years of age, Paul who generally cracks the whip, Ethel, Judy Bond, Ethan, Frank was not there (only place I had heard of him was at the store downtown). Tommy is there and think he is somewhat young, Brandon, MC Finny, Herb who is Wanda’s husband, Wanda, James Finny said what when I called out his name, and Vernon.
When I called out Vernon’s name a female was taken by surprise and she said “how does she know that”? Edith has never acknowledged me when I have called out to her. I don’t know if she knows her name most of the time. I have though heard her carry on conversations and interact with Paul and she answered the phone when the guy from down town called. I believe she is there and not residual.
I am pretty sure that most of these people have come in because we identified Joanna that is when they started flooding our audio with names. Are there other explanations? Sure but from what I am hearing this seems the most likely to me.
Unfortunately the groups that are out there doing research and investigation just jump around from one location to another to see if they are haunted. I have searched for other groups that have done this type of research on one location and there just doesn’t seem to be very many or any that have done what we have with the Sallie house.
All I can do is just go by what I hear when I listen to the audio. I go back and ask questions that will answer my questions in a round about way. I just have to listen for confirmation to what I think is going on and hope that I can hear the same thing several different times.
I wrote to Jerry and said I had two strange EVP. Sounded like Brandon had come right up to the camera and said “set your clock back”. The other one sounds like Wanda and she is saying that she is “double sacking stuff”. Jerry said well maybe he was trying to tell me I had forgot to set my clock back on the camera downstairs, because it was off by an hour. Jerry forgot to set it back when the time changed in the fall. Not sure why she was double sacking anything.
