This investigation date also coincided with Jerry’s high school reunion. Claudia works at the library and has been so helpful with getting and giving us any information that comes across her desk. She is also Jerry’s old classmate and we consider her a part of our group (KPG).
One of the class mates showed up in over alls. When he walked into the kitchen we got an EVP from a man that says “Mike the bars not here”. Dr. Finney lost the Mayor position because he was supplying alcohol to the Eagles club.
Is it possible that alcohol was kept in this house until needed at the Eagles lodge? Wasn’t his sister who owned the house in Nebraska while he was mayor? Who was in the house, was it rented? Who knows but I found it interesting.
There was another EVP where Claudia was kind of joking and kidding around and she said something about the Dr. wearing a tutu while skating. I can’t recall right off what was said but there was a response to that.
Around 9pm we took a break and Claudia and the other classmates (2) either left for the night or they went out to grab a bite to eat. I had my laptop in the kitchen and asked Jennifer to listen and see if she could hear the little boy that I heard in the living room on our last visit.
As we were standing at the counter she was right in front of the laptop and soon moved over to the side. I moved up and kept feeling something on my leg. It was like the bottom inch of my shorts were moving in the wind. Thinking I had a hair hanging from my shorts I kept reaching back trying to remove it. It could have been a string or anything but it was driving me crazy.
After trying a number of times to brush off what ever it was I turned about to make sure no one was standing behind me with a cord or anything that could be tickling my leg. I finally said something about it and Jennifer said that was why she moved over. I started laughing because here we were in a haunted house and I thought of just about anything that could have caused this except the ghosts. I started laughing and said I oh I get it someone wanted our attention, I still can’t believe it took me so long to figure out someone wanted us to know he was there.
